'under the hammer' means you are under pressure in Australia. But it's a 'gun' in the US and a 'sword' in Pakistan. What an interesting cultural difference in the language!!!!

Dajana took a job offer and landed in London. With very little English and not enough driving experience, she began her working life. Some years later and looking for a new start, the Employment Agency (Arbeitsamt) funded an 8 week English course (Aktivierungsgutschein - AVGS)
And now we are happy to report Dajana got her C1 telc Certificate and has a new job.
